Scicon Race Rain Bag

I'm probably a bit like everyone else, a cycling event in the morning and I gather all my bits and pieces and place them in a somewhat neat fashion into a backpack. But when I arrive at the event and take out my first item of clothing the backpack ends up looking like it should be declared a disaster zone. Everything gets mixed up and the rummaging starts, looking for that second arm warmer that's missing.

I was watching a popular YouTube channel one day and they were looking in the back of the team cars to see what kit the riders had with them. Everything was placed in these customised Scicon Race Rain bags with labelled pockets for each item of clothing. I though to myself what a great product, I have to get one of those.

The bag has several pockets, two on the top, two on the bottom and one on each end. The pockets are labelled with there intended purpose.

On the top of the bag there is two pockets, one is for your Jersey/Shorts and the other is for Jackets/Vests. Each pocket is zipped and has a nice long tab on it which helps with the opening, especially if you were wearing cloves or your hands were cold. On the top of the bag you get a nice sturdy handle and you can also get your country flag and name printed. It's a nice little touch for the normal cyclist like myself but a necessity for teams to stop bags getting mixed up and save time.

On the right side of the bag there is a large pocket for your Shoes/Covers and on the inside of this pocket there is a small mesh pouch. To be honest this is where I keep a few gels and an energy bar or two so I don't forget to bring them. This end pocket also has a handle on it in case the bags were stacked on there ends.

The pocket on the left side of the bag is for storing your dirty or wet clothing and this has a mesh panel on it to let your clothing dry out and air a bit.

The bottom of the bag is has a further two pockets, one being for Gloves and the other one is for Warmers. Again each zip has a nice tap to help open and close it.

There is room for more that what I carry in it, you would easily get another jersey or rain jacket in there no problem.

Would I recommended it, absolutely. Everything is much easier to find seen as it has a dedicated pocket. Your not as inclined to forget something. It's well made, holds more than enough but is still compact that your not carrying a big awkward bag around with you.
