I had always being using cheap non branded sunglasses for Cycling, I was fairly happy with them to be honest. That was until I got a pair of Oakley Switch Style (these are normal sunglasses, not cycling specific ones). The difference was huge over my cheap glasses. The colours, clarity and comfort were all first class.
So one day while having a look on the usual online chains I came across the Oakley Jawbreakers CVNDSH edition on sale. Sure what could I do, I liked the frame colour and there was a great offer on them. A few days later they arrived.
Ok, these are big sunglasses, there is no denying that, so I'd recommend trying them on before buying - just in case. I have used them in all sorts of Irish weather from sun to overcast to rain (ok, maybe not as much sun as the other two). In all the times I have worn them I don't think they fogged up once, this is due to the 6 large vents that surround the lens. Unlike other glasses I have had in that past you can comfortably wear these on dull and bright days without the feeling its getting to dark if the clouds roll in. I mentioned earlier that there big, the main reason for this is to give a much greater field of view, Oakley reckons this field of view is up to 44% larger than most other standard dual lens glasses. If your heading to the shops looking for a pair of glasses then I would definitely recommend looking at these. As always with Oakley's make sure you buy from a reputable shop, there are lots of fakes around. Visit www.oakley.com for more details.
